About Opportunity

Youth work - Supporting youth workers and getting alongside young people to help out on activities. Also a chance to assist the youth to reach their potential. There is a chance to help on outings, group work and education. Also to sit and talk to the youth so that they have someone to go to.

About Caol Youth Centre

Primarily youth work, promoting youth in our area. The youth centre is open on a daily basis with a number of groups coming in and using our facilities on a let basis. We would like to expand on this to involve the wider community.

Skills & Experience

Outgoing personality and good communication skills. No formal qualifications required, just enthusiasm.

Travel Details

Caol Youth Centre. There is a regular bus service from Fort William and Caol is 3 miles from town.

Training and Induction Details

Induction on youth centre. Youth work training, child protection, First Aid etc. Support from core and sessional staff within the centre.
