About Opportunity
The guide will be given training to ensure that they are competent to take tours on their own. The will be provided with information about the House and Dunfermline pertinent to the task. If they are interested in history and especially local history and people, they will find this a rewarding opportunity. They will meet people of different nationalities and answer their queries on a variety of topics relating to Abbot House. When they are fully trained they will deal with visitors as they arrive at Abbot House, however they may also be asked if they are free to guide for booked tours.
