About Opportunity
I have quite a few Brownies who joined the pack recently and I need 1 or 2 adults to help on a regular basis. I have more girls on my waiting list ready to join but can't as we do not have the adult to child ratios required for insurance purposes. The adult volunteers can be as involved as they wish. They could work their way through the Leadership qualification (not difficult), help with crafts, games etc or if they wished they could just be there to make up adult to child ratios and not do too much. They can go at their own pace. I must mention I have now done this for 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed it.

To encourage girls to realize their full potential, to take part in fun, interesting and challenging activities, to encourage girls to think of themselves, their community and their world.
Skills & Experience
Listening skills, any experience of working with children would be great but not necessary. Musical, good with accounts, most of all enjoy being with children aged 7-10 years.

Castlehill Church, very accesible by bus.

Female only - it is an all girls/women's organisation.

Training and Induction Details
Many trainings go on throughout the year, ranging from crafts, First Aid, safe from harm etc. You can pick and choose which ones you wish to attend. Some are for 2-3 hours, some are all day, most are good fun.
