About Opportunity
Work with a specific person to enable him/her to achieve successful completion of a course. This may be ICT or a learner on the Literacies Project. LEAD students have many barriers to overcome and a volunteer has a pivotal role in the learning support team.

About L.E.A.D. Scotland
Lead Scotland enables disabled adults and carers (16+) to access learning opportunities and education. We provide a 1-1 service, supported by trained volunteers to support learners to achieve their aims. Learners may be workling from basic skills level through to university level in any subject.
Skills & Experience
Commitment to LEAD policy - equal opportunities, disability equality, confidentiality, clear-air policy, complaints policy. Flexability, literacy attainment, patience and team working.
Travel Details
Mainly in learner's home, but also in other premises. Travel allowance of 40p per mile or full refund of public transport costs.
Restrictions
Acceptable CRBS check and references.
