The aims of the citizens advice bureau are: To ensure that individuals do not suffer through ignorance of their rights and responsibilities or of the services available, or through an inability to express their needs effectively. To exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.

At the office although there are opportunities to travel through out the island, as we offer a hom,e visiting service to those who cannot manage into the office. Travel expenses paid.

Introduction to office and systems. 20 basic units to be worked through covering topics from benifits to employment, law and goverment to housing. other training courses offered by Citizens Advice Scotland on the mainland ( funded).
