About Opportunity
The centre is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening 7 - 9pm. Volunteer Youth Workers are rota'd to help in the centre to put the needs of the centre and personal commitments. Individual interests and skills are utilised as appropriate.

About YMCA
To provide a relaxed and informal, safe environment where local youths (12 - 25 years) can meet with their peers. They can enjoy playing pool, TV games, use of 4 computers, mixing music on disco equipment or just chatting to friends in the quiet area. Trips outside the area are offered periodically.

Training and Induction Details
Informal chat, police disclosures, attending a session 'on trail', youth worker makes follow-up contact, regular supervisory meetings (monthly), diary for feedback, twice a year get together.
