About Opportunity

Visiting secondary schools & youth groups, encouraging the young people to voice their opinion & join in group discussions on violence and abuse, rights and responsibilities etc. Disscussions are aided by worksheets & video & interaction between Youth project worker and youths. Also prior & post consultation with the Guidance Teachers and Youth Leaders will also be required, this will enable the volunteer to evaluate, access & monitor the project itself.

About Central Scotland Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Centre

Central Scotland Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Centre exists to provide a free and confidential service of emotional support and practical information on legal and medical issues for anyone who has experienced rape, sexual assualt or child sexual abuse. We cover the areas of Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire.

Skills & Experience

Training will be provided Healthy, confident attitude with sense of humour, Confident in group discussions, Good communication skills

Travel Details

Visits carried out during school hours within Stirling, Clackmannan & Falkirk. Youth Groups are visits at mutual arrangement in the evenings. Arangements can be made for the volunteer to travel with the existing youth project workers.
