About Opportunity
Successful candidates will work with adults in either 1:1 or groups working on improving literacy and numeracy skills. A number of training opportunities will be given including Professional Development Award in Adult Literacy, Dyslexia, and Groupwork. Further additional training is offered on an ongoing basis. Tutors are supported on a local basis by Community Learning Assistants and centrally by Community Learning Co-ordinator. Tutors also have the opportunity to develop skills and contacts through various events and meetings which are organised on a regular basis.

10 week PDA in Adult Literacies or Mentoring Training. Initial group work training, ESOL, any other ongoing training required.
