House to house collections usually first week in May, and street collections on the Saturday. Also a Summer Fair on the last Wednesday in July. Help required at all these events.

They offer help with any number of tasks that are needed within a community. In Bute the British Red Cross provides the following services: First Aid Training, Medical Loan, Emergency Response, Transport and Escort, Home from Hospital Service, Therapeutic hand massage, Skin Camouflage, International tracing and message services .
