Strengthening Communites-An Tobar Arts Centre is committed 2 providing the people of Mull&Iona with access 2 a diverse range of hi quality artistic&cultural experiences&2 strengthening the community by stimulating cultural & economic activity within the area. Developing Audiences-By promoting a year round programme of exhibitions,performances,classes & workshops,An Tobar aims 2 develop existing&new audiences participating in the arts. Enhancing Skills-The centre aims 2 build partnerships between performers,artists,technicians&all sectors of the community,giving the chance 4 local people 2 work&learn alongside established professionals,thus enhancing the professionalism of local practitioners&helping 2 realise the goals of participants. Stimulating Tourism-By extension,An Tobar aims 2 stimulate tourism & enhance visitors' experiences on the islands by providing a compelling&authentic environment in which 2 gain insight into the cultural&artististic life of the community

Care and patience in handling work. Attention to detail. Minimal practical skills (painting, screwing, etc.)
