About Opportunity
The opportunity to make a difference in a young person's life. Current and previous befrienders report befriending as a very rewarding relationship - both to the young person and the befrienders themselves. This could be someone's chance to not only help a young person but to also broaden their own horizons and perhaps learn something new. This could also be an opportunity for someone looking to, perhaps change career path. Befriending can be fun, challenging, rewarding and a great experience. We have befrienders who have been with us for many years and have built up unique relationships with young people. You can fit befriending in around your work/home life as it can take place in the evenings or weekends. Training reviews and support are constantly given.
