About Opportunity
As a volunteer driver your role will be to pick up children from their homes throughout NE Fife and drive them to St Andrews for their befriending session. Two hours later you will drive the children home. This service is vital to the success of our befriending programme. The children who you will transport really look forward to meeting up with their befriendrers and benefit greatly in their social and emotional development. As a driver you will add to the overall experience by interacting with the children and meeting their Families First All volunteer drivers are subject to enhanced CRBS disclosure, undergo child protection training and must provide satisfactory references. Drivers are also asked to provide evidence of car insurance, MOT, tax, driving licence and car servicing. About Families First
Families First - St Andrews is a voluntary organisation established to provide support to families who live in the St Andrews area. Staff and trained volunteers are available to provide friendship and support to anyone who may be experiencing difficulties.
