About Opportunity
Breakfast Clubs run on weekdays during school term time at Lawhead Primary School and Canongate Primary School- both in St Andrews. The clubs run from 8.00am-9.00am. Volunteers participate in a number of activities from serving breakfasts to arts and crafts, board games, lego and imaginative play. There are opportunities for one-to-one contact and group contact with children. The clubs have been praised by school headteachers as providing a safe and stimulating environment for primary school children. Clubs also provide an environment for volunteers to display skills such as craftwork, chess, leading games, or just engaging with children. All our club volunteers undergo child protection and clubs training and are subject to CRBS enhanced disclosure checks. About Families First
Families First - St Andrews is a voluntary organisation established to provide support to families who live in the St Andrews area. Staff and trained volunteers are available to provide friendship and support to anyone who may be experiencing difficulties.

Travel Details
The clubs run at Lawhead Primary School and Canongate Primary School, both in St Andrews. Volunteers are responsible for making their own way to and from Clubs.

Mileage rate of 40p/mile for car travel. We try to minimise travel expenses by giving priority to local volunteers.
