About Opportunity

Our volunteers come with a wide range of skills and life experience and we are looking to expand our numbers. If you are able to get on with people of all ages and backgrounds and have a non-judgemental attitude to life, this opportunity could be for you. We provide full training to help you give support and information to victims in their homes, on the telephone and in our premises. There is also an opportunity for more specialist trainng so that volunteers can support those people who are vicitims of more serious crimes. Victim Support has a flexible attitude to time commitment from volunteers but would ask for 2/3 hours per week.
