About Opportunity
Abbeyfield (a long established international charity) has a unique record of providing very sheltered housing for 6 older people who wish independence, support and security. Abbeyfield Torphins is managed by a team of volunteers, in addition to a superb resident housekeeper. It is vital that we have more volunteers. They help in so many ways - they can be a befriender (visiting residents), give advice, help with odd jobs, gardening or contribute to our management committees. The list is endless.

About Abbeyfield Torphins Society Ltd
To provide high quality, good value accommodation for the independent eldery, this is achieved by volunteers dealing with various issues including marketing, finance and welfare. Volunteers contribute to the management team who deal with all of the above.
Skills & Experience
Volunteers must undergo a Disclosure Scotland check. Any costs will be met by the Abbeyfield Scoiety.
