About Opportunity

Volunteers needed to promote use of real nappies to a variety of audiences, including parents and health professionals. Volunteers are provided with a demonstration kit and given full training to deliver a short presentation. Other duties may include assisting the Project Co-ordinator at public events, ie. looking after a display stand, talking to the public, enthusing about real nappies. Personal positive experience of real nappies is essential.

To promote the use of washable nappies across the Highland Council area

Skills & Experience

Positive experience of real nappy use, confidence in talking to groups, enthusiasm, being organised and reliable.

Travel Details

All across the Highland Council area and volunteers from all locations are welcome. Most volunteers have access to a car. However, depending on location this may not be necessary as public transport or taxi may be appropriate. Travel expenses and childcare are covered.
