1 Volunteeers must committ to 12-13 weeks training (1 evening per week) 2 Approx 3 months probationary Period to be completed 3 Will be asked to commit up to 8 hours per month 4 Will work as part of an effective team 5 Must be able to develop an understanding of the issues around sexual violence against woman. 2011 UPDATE “Rape Crisis Scotland is seeking to recruit volunteers to contribute to the staffing of the helpline. A full internal training programme will start on Saturday the 4th of June 2011. An information evening will take place on Wednesday the 4th of May at The Albany Learning & Conference Centre, 44 Ashley Street, Glasgow G3 6DS between 6.30pm – 8pm.
