Good Neighbour
When We Need You
From 23/01/2006 onwards
About Opportunity
Our Good Neighbours schemes provide assistance to socially isolated or housebound people by helping with small tasks that a neighbour or family member might normally help with. These can include help with shopping, walking the dog, helping to fill in a form, visiting and small gardening tasks. Any tasks that a tradesperson would not be employed to provide. If you enjoy social contact, would like to help out in your local community and can spare 1-2 hours a week, a fortnight or monthly, then this is an ideal volunteering opportunity and we would love to hear from you.
