About Opportunity

UP2U aims to recruit teenage volunteers and prepare them to deliver peer education programmes throughout Tweeddale. Adult volunteers support these young pepole by arranging residential training events. They also encourage various groups within UP2U to develop and produce materials used in the delivery of the programmes. A small number of adults are selected to serve on the management committee.

About UP2U Peer Education Group

The group provide information on alcohol, drugs and sexual health to the young people of Tweeddale through the use of Peer Education.

Be able to work with other young people.

Travel Details

UP2U work throughout Tweeddale, but are now being asked to support groups throughout the Borders. Travel expenses may be paid.

Young people are recruited in S3

UP2U provides an on-going awareness programme for all volunteers in addition to established policies and protocols
