About Opportunity

Delivering instruction to a particular rank of young people and encouraging them to move up to the next rank. Typically civilian instructors will train in marching and rifle drill, knot tying, splicing and navigation etc.. Civilian Instructors can move up the instructor rank themselves.

About Ayr Sea Cadets

The Sea Cadets is a nationwide voluntary youth organisation, open to young people aged 12 to 18 and with Junior Sections open to those of 10 to 12 years of age, run by enthusiastic adult volunteers. If you're out to enjoy life as much as possible, this is the place for you! Fun, friendship, adventure and learning new skills is what we're about . Our general aim is to provide Cadets with structured training so they can progress towards good citizenship, as well as achieve nationally recognized qualifications.
