About Opportunity
We are hoping to identify a few people who will work with us to develop and carry out fundraising activities. This would include organising local events, can collections, preparing applications to charitable trusts, writing to local companies for donation. Any ideas and experience that fundraisers bring will be very valuable.

About Lorn Counselling Service
The provision of generic, face to face and telephone counselling for people living in North Argyll who are experiencing any form of emotional or psychological distress that has a detrimental affect on how they are able to cope with life, their wellbeing and that of their families. The promotion of mental health awareness to the public as well as other services/professionals.
Skills & Experience
The main things we are looking for are people with the willingness and enthusiasm to support our fundraising activities.
Travel Details
The oppotunity will take place in our offices at Albany Chambers, Albany Street, Oban.
Restrictions
Our office is on the first floor of an office building and so would not be accessible to someone with mobility problems.

Training and Induction Details
Induction would include information about the background, values and aims of Lorn Counselling Service. Support would be offered by the co-ordinator.
