About Opportunity
We are looking for people who are current or former service users or carers, to volunteer with us as a Lay Assessor. Lay Assessors help with the inspection of services, usually through direct visits alongside Care Commission Officers. Our lay assessor scheme is based on the belief that involving people with experience of receiving care services, caring for someone who has used them will help the inspection process to focus on the quality of care from the point of view of people who use the service.
Travel Details
This group will initially meet in Dundee on a monthly basis, but the frequency of meetings may vary depending on how the group progresses. Travel expenses can be paid for care service users or their unpaid carers.
