About Opportunity
The role includes:- Initiating, developing and strengthening relationships with funeral directors, hospices, nursing homes, churches and places of worship promoting donations in memory of family, friends and loved ones; Promoting the Cancer Research UK Donate in Memory website; Distributing literature and display materials to local funeral directors; Writing personalised thank you letters and cards to recognise donations.

You need:- Excellent interpersonal skills & friendly approach; The ability to write appropriate & sympathetic correspondence; The ability to work proactively and independently; Efficiency & accuracy; Knowledge of the local community would be an advantage
Travel Details
Most of the work will involve being out and about representing the charity in your local community. You may need to carry out some tasks from your home or at your local Cancer Research UK office.
Restrictions
Young volunteers must be at least 14 and until the age of 16 have written consent from a parent or guardian.
