About Opportunity

Access to clear and accurate information on key health messages enables people with arthritis to manage their condition better, remain more mobile, independent and active in their community. Our information volunteers provide access to this information by distributing our printed information to local venues such as libraries and halth centres. We now have Lottery funding to develop three presentation on healthy eating, exercise and pain control in relation to arthritis, and volunteers will present these to groups of people aged mainly 60 plus. The volunteering opportunity is designed to be flexible, taking into account the needs of people with arthritis.
