About Opportunity

Carry out short face-to-face questionnaires in an official capacity at various locations on the WHW. Input data, analyse survey results and produce reports. Represent the views of the WH and individual managing authorities. Flexible but must be able to come into the office at some point to input and analyse data.

About Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park

The national park has 4 aims: 1. To conserve and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of the area. 2. To promote the sustainable use of the natural resources of the area 3. To promote understanding and enjoyment (including enjoyment in the form of recreation) of the special qualities to the public 4. To promote sustainable socail and economic development of the communities of the area.

Skills & Experience

Friendly and outgoing personality, able to engage users in conversation, and analyse data. Your own outdoor clothing. Diplomatic. Maybe necessary to work alone. Training given in report writing and data analysis. Could be done as part of educ placement.

Travel Details

Strategic points on the West Highland Way to be agreed in advance. Also, National Park Headquarters, Balloch. A computer within the National Park Headquarters will be made available on a hot desk basis.
