About Opportunity
Help produce and send out campaign mailings. Carry out research to identify groups and individuals who could participate in our campaigns. Answer enquiries about the campaign. Assist local staff to organise a launch event and subsequent promotional activities. Help promote the campaogns within your local community and encourage local people and businesses to get involved. Occasionally attend fundraising events as charity representative.

Skills & Experience
You will need a passion for the campaigns aim's of raising awarness & funds for cancer research; the ability to multitask; influencing & persuading skills & a good telephone manner; Basic PC skills; team working skills; efficiency & accuracy.
Travel Details
Based at your local Cancer Research office. It may be possible to do some tasks at home.
Restrictions
Young volunteers must be at least 14 and until the age of 16 have written consent from a parent or guardian.

Training and Induction Details
Full induction with information on the charity, the local research institutes & their current projects. Full breakdown on the campaign you will be working on & information you may be asked for. Staff always on hand to help if needed. Database training.
