About NCH Scotland Mentoring Project
To target those young people identified through The Fast track process who live in the East and South of Ayrshire who are between 8 and 17 in order to bring about reduction in the level and pattern of offending and to reduce the likelihood of progress to residential/secure measures of care and progression to the Criminal Justice System.
Skills & Experience
Mentors do not require any specific skills just the ability to relate to young people and draw on their own life experiences, to help encourage and support the young person to make positive changes.

Within South Ayrshire. Consideration of volunteers and their views and wishes.
