About Opportunity

As part of a fantastic, supportive team, you will work in our telephone based advice centre in Glasgow and provide advice and information to our clients. In return we shall provide full training on our information system, computer and telephone systems. We shall also reimburse full travelling expenses. Training is ongoing, throughout the year. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? You should contact CAD for an application pack ideally by downloading it from the web address on the right/or by email using the contact details on the right/select the REGISTER INTEREST button. If you do not receive a response within 3 working days, please contact Volunteer Centre Glasgow. After submitting the application form we will arrange a telephone interview and if successful an informal interview/ listening in session. It can take between 2-8 weeks to get you started on training after we meet you for an interview – depending on your availability.

- Experience working with telephones an advantage but not essential. - Reasonable IT skills are a requirement and the ability to work as part of a team.

Travel Details

Close to Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations. Within walking distance of Buchanan Street and St Enoch Underground Stations. Most buses travel into the city centre also.

Different routes to training depending on availability and demand, ranging from 2 week intense fast track, Evening Training to Saturday Training. Continuous training and coaching, access to SVQ and access to other training courses.
