We will provide valuable training to become an advisor in a variety of subjects including Benefits, Housing, Debt, consumer rights, employment and other subjects. About Citizens Advice Bureau

Provision of advice and information on a host of issues to all members of the public. The service is free, impartial, independent and confidential.

Skills & Experience

Good written and verbal communication skills and have non judgemental attitude to people with a desire to help people and the community and be willing to to take part in necessary training to become advisors. Be able to empathise with clients problems.

Travel Details

New office building Bus Nos. 9, 20,41 42 from City Centre. and ten minute walk from Drumchapel railway station.

Training and Induction Details

Training available to SVQ Level 3 this includes a variety of issues, housing, consumer issues, debt, employment. On the job training/mentoring from experienced volunteer. Please contact us for more info re future training dates.

Frequency & Commitment

Minimum commitment of 6 hours per week, Work 2 sessions of two and a half hours each day. Minimum requirement of 1 day or 2 half days per week.
