About Opportunity

To give information and support to people with ME/CFS via a telephone service that will be redirected to your home and you will listen to the caller and determine the needs of the caller and taking the appropriate action while completing a telephone log sheet that will be passed to the Volunteer Supervisor. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? You should contact us for an application pack either by e-mail meconnect@meassociation.org.uk or phone 01663 750846 (mornings only)/ or by using the contact details on the right/select the REGISTER INTEREST button. If you do not receive a response within 10 working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. It generally takes around 8-12 weeks [training] after you contact us (and if you are accepted) to get you started.

Training and Induction Details

Everyone will receive a Volunteer Starter Pack and full training will be given as well as Supervisory sessions that take place at 3 monthly intervals.
