About Opportunity

We need volunteers to help with various fundraising activities. You could be involved in fundraising for capacity building and diversifying activities, such as home support & home help services, meals on wheels and sheltered housing services. We also need help raising funds to purchase equipment for disabled and terminally ill service users. Fundraising experience is desirable but not essential. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the register Interest facility. If you do not receive a response within 7 working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. After a telephone call and submitting the application form there will be arrangements to meet fro an interview It generally takes around 4-6 weeks after you contact us to get you started.

About Multi-Cultural Elderly Care Centre

To promote the welfare of the older people in Glasgow, primarily for those from black & ethnic minority communities who are most discriminated against & disadvantaged, by networking with statutory or voluntary organisations in a common effort to improve health, alleviate poverty & enhance the quality of life for the older people within their communities.

Skills & Experience

Experience in fundraising preferable but not essential.

Travel Details

Based in MECC, Calder St. Bus no. 12 or 7.
