About Opportunity

MWRC hopes to work alongside mainstream agencies to overcome social exclusion of muslim women in Scotland.This position involves organising seminars and conferences and promoting surgeries and outreach work within the community.You would have the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and a chance to learn new skills and have work experience.www.mwrc.org.uk HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? About The Muslim Women Resource Centre

To ensure muslim women are fully able to participate in society.

Skills & Experience

An understanding of Muslim womens needs and good communication skills and good organisational skills and the ability to motivate others.

Travel Details

By train from central station or east pollokshields and catch the cathcart circle newton or neilston traons to crosshill then walk down cathcart road to the junction of calder st. or by bus 37 12 from city centre to calder street.

Training and Induction Details

Induction training is given to help volunteers with MWRC policies. Ongoing training is given and the volunteer will be supported in every way.
