About Opportunity

The telephone helpline position provides the opportunity to give confidential information and advice as well as supporting people over the telephone. About The Muslim Women Resource Centre

To ensure muslim women are fully able to participate in society.

Skills & Experience

An understanding of muslim womens needs and the ability to listen on the telephone and to speak clearly.

Travel Details

By train from central station or east pollokshields catch the cathcart circle, neilston or newton trains to crosshill then walk down cathcart road to the junction of calder street or get bus 12 or 37 from the city centre.

Training and Induction Details

Induction training in full is given to familiarise volunteers with MWRC and full telephone training is given.
