Class Registration Volunteer
When We Need You
From 20/12/2006 onwards
About Opportunity
Class registration volunteers greet and welcome dance class participants as they arrive. You will deal with general enquiries and new registrations. This involves completing simple registration forms and dealing with money. Volunteers need to have good people skills and be happy dealing with members of the public. It will be your responsibility to report problems or queries to the Dance House office. It’s a great opportunity for anyone interested in dance and wanting to gain customer service and admin experience. You will work as part of a team and new volunteers will be supported by more experienced volunteers. Volunteers also have the opportunity to take part in DANCE CLASSES FREE OF CHARGE. We need class registration volunteers for evening classes (Mon-Fri), Wednesday lunchtime and Saturday morning. Volunteers should commit for 3 hours per week for at least 10 weeks. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? You should contact us ideally by phone or email using the contact details on the right/select the REGISTER INTEREST button. If you do not receive a response within 3 working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. An informal chat will follow. How soon you start volunteering will depend on current/scheduled programs.
