About Opportunity

The Volunteer Stroke Service needs volunteers to help with all aspects of its work. You do not need special qualifications to join us. If you can offer a commitment to attend training and have a desire to support people who have a stroke. As a volunteer you will enjoy interaction with both members and other volunteers. You will learn new skills in your spare time. A volunteer can assist and support members while attending support group and become trained conversation partners for people with communication problems.

Frequency & Commitment

Group meets on a Wednesday afternoon. A volunteer would help out for 2 hours per week. Group runs from 1.30pm until 3.30pm.

Minimum Age

Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
