About Opportunity

Most of our volunteers offer one-to-one support. Many learners ask for learning support such as talking through challenges and sharing skills and knowledge of a subject. Some ask for practical support such as scribing, typing up notes and being accompanied to college. Our learners have a diverse range of interests and learning goals. For example some wish to improve their IT skills and require the experience and knowledge of a volunteer to demonstrate IT applications, where as others are seeking guidance and encouragement through a course of study. Lead recognises that volunteers too have varying and wide-ranging interests and skills, and we will ensure you are matched up with a compatible learner.
