About Opportunity

The volunteer would participate in events that run during April, May & June and work with Primary 6 & 7's giving 8 minute interactive presentations with the children on various safety issues. The presentations centre around prevention of brain injury by wearing cycling helmets correctly, it then moves onto discussing the effects of having an accident without wearing the helmet and the impact to the brain.

Headway Ayrshire provides information, support and advice to individuals with acquired brain injury their families and carers.

We provide community rehabilitation groups for individuals with aquired brain injury and services to carers and families.
