When We Need You

From 26/04/2007 onwards

About Opportunity

We will address the 'problem' behaviour of young people, by providing inspiration and purpose; meeting young people where they are, in order to encourage their curiosity and imagination. International artists, of all art forms, will instruct, inspire and ignite the imaginations of the children and adults in the visual arts (painting, drawing, sculpture etc). We will offer training, apprenticeship and work placements to set young people onto a professional path, as well as art therapy and development work for people with disabilities. Our purpose is to offer an encouraging environment in which artists and students can evolve and fourish at their own pace in a 'bee hive' of inspiration, to put Beauty back as central in the study and achievement in drawing and painting, and to raise people's quality of life through confidence building and self-esteem.
