About Opportunity
ENABLE Glasgow’s Thomas Fortune Work Centre aims to allow people to develop core life and employment skills and supports people to live as full and independent lives as possible. Many of the adults who attend the Centre are also supported to undertake college courses and encouraged to travel to these independently. For some people, assistance with travel is also necessary following an illness or due to changing needs. We are looking for volunteers who have a positive attitude to people with learning disability and respect their dignity and right to be as independent as possible. Full training and access to further training opportunities as well as travel expenses will be provided. **HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?** If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility.
