About Opportunity
The Witness Service offers full training to all volunteers and support and supervision is always available. The Witness Service offers services such as information on court procedures, pre court visits, guidance on further support from other agencies if required and someone to talk to in confeience, however we do not disuss the evidence.

Provides support and information for anyone who has to attend court, which is often a very stressful experience. volunteers help by giving information, emotional support and practical advice; and also showing people round the courtroom so they know what to expect.

Non judgemental Respect confidentiality Patient Able to coomunicate with people of all ages no specific experience required as training wiull be given
Travel Details
Volunteers will be based in Lerwick Sheriff Court and will be required ususally once a fortnight during criminal court hearings. All travel expenses will be reimbursed.
