About Opportunity
Active Schools aims to provide children with a wide range of opportunities to be active. For primary aged children play is an important way for them to be physically active, as well as a time to learn, make friends and unwind. You could help us achieve our aim to make "more children, more active, more often" by leading activities such as tig and other playground games at lunch times or after school. The role will also involve supervising children as they play with games equipment such as skipping ropes, hoops and mini stilts which Active Schools and Big Lottery have provided. These play sessions aim to show children alternative activities and simple games as well as giving them extra time, in a safe environment to do what all children love doing - playing. Training such as First Aid, Children Protection and Playground Games will be available.
