About Opportunity
Youth Under Focus First (YUF-F) is an independent community group based in Stirling who raises funds soley for young people and their families to help them become fitter, lose weight and feel better about themselves. Our groups give overweight children the opportunity to experience activities and attempts to provide support to build up self-esteem and confidence levels. In order to give the group these opportunities we are seeking the help of volunteers holding a driving licence to drive a mini bus. This will give the group extra support in order to travel on day trips including walks, adventure centres and swimming trips. If you are looking to experience working with families and children with a variety of social issues then you may find volunteering with YUF-F to be a rewarding experience. The group is based within Stirling and there are a variety of sessions throughout the week at Wallace High School, the MacRoberts Art Centre and monthlyday trips within Central Scotland.

About Youth Under Focus - First
Youth Under Focus First (YUF-F) is an independent community group based in Stirling who raises funds solely to provide activities for overweight and obese young people and their families to help them become fitter, lose weight and feel better about themselves. The group is looking for volunteers with a keen interest in sports and activities allowing the children to experience new things, additionally leading to improved fitness, self-esteem and confidence levels. Volunteers should have an interest gaining experience working with children who have variety of social issues. All activities should be fun and competition kept to a minimum emphasising team-building and confidence building.

Travel Details
There are presently a variety of locations use by the group within Stirling. The group facilitators are based within the Dietetic Department of Stirling Royal Infirmary. However the children use Wallace High School sports facilities on a regular basis. There are also regular sessions at Rainbow Slides Leisure Centre and Forthbank Stadium gym facilities have been used in the past. Expenses Detail
Travel expenses will be paid on a weekly basis if evidence of the use of public transort can be shown (e.g. bus tickets) The milegae rate for claiming back petrol expenses is 35 p / mile and is usually claimed back on a monthly basis.
