About Shared Care Scotland

Shared Care Scotland was formed to promote and support the development of short breaks throughout Scotland. Shared Care Scotland's efforts are focused on ensuring those requiring short breaks -inclusive ofthose with special needs,their carers and their families wherever they live in Scotland-are offered real choice in terms of what,where and how the services they require are provided.

Travel Details

The board meets every 2 months,mainly in their offices in Dunfermline but occasilnally at different locations Scotland-wide. Travel and subsistence expences are provided and the rates reviewed annualy

Training and Induction Details

Training is available to Directors to support their involvement with Shared Care Scotland and their contribution to the Board. Upon appointment an induction pack is provided to new Directors ,alongside support from the Chief Executive , Chair
