About Opportunity

The volunteer will be trained in the strategies and techniques of communication support in order to ensure that our service users are supported effectively by their communication partner and ensure inclusion, with the appropriate level of support for both group and one to one conversations.

About Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland

Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) aims to improve the quality of life for people affected by chest, heart and stroke illness in Scotland. The organisation funds medical research and provides a range of support services for people in the community.

We rely on a team of over 1000 volunteers across Scotland to help deliver services to people who have suffered a stroke or Heart Failure and help to raise the funds needed.
