About Opportunity
This opportunity to join the RNLI at the Girvan Lifeboat Staion is open to anyone from the age of 17 (with parental consent) upto 55 years. You have to be fit, enjoy working as part of a team and willing to undergo training in survival techniques, navigation and seamanship. You would be part of team which gives up their time and comfort to carry out rescues in difficult and often dangerous conditions.
