About Opportunity
The volunteer will organise conservation events/activities in the local community, including stream cleaning, litter picking, path laying and general maintenance at Rounall Wood. In addition to organising & planning the activities, the organiser will contact volunteers, organise the workload; ensure appropriate resources are available for the activity and help to promote the events.

About Dalbeattie Community Initiative
The Initiative was formed in 1997 with the aim of acting as a catalyst within the community, to respond to local needs and effectively reflect local priorities in order to promote and encourage the economic, social and physical regeneration of Dalbeattie and surrounding area. Developing a shared programme of action, and working in partnership with local community and local and national agencies.
