About Opportunity
Assisting the Nurse Specialist to facilitate Patient Support Group Meetings, which are held monthly. Helping to co-ordinate and support the Groups developing programme of activities. Liaising with the nurse Specialist, and our CARE Line staff to organise and promote patient Support Group meetings.

To help leukaemia sufferers and their families, both emotionally and financially.
Skills & Experience
Need to be literate, good communication skills and have experience of cancer either as a patient, carer or family member.
Travel Details
The meetings are held in Stirling and Falkirk, the volunteer will need to make own travel arrangements.

Training and Induction Details
Two days induction, listening & bereavment skills training. Support from HO Staff and local volunteer Team Leader.
