About Opportunity

The volunteer works with the Organiser and other volunteers to provide a welcoming friendly atmosphere for the families using the Centre by:- - Helping out with difficult "handovers" and complex contact arrangements as advised by the Organiser - Being involved with both parents and children in order to make them feel at ease (this does not involve giving advice, counselling or expressing opinion) - Ensuring the availability of suitable play equipment and materials - Giving ideas for play, if asked - Encouraging families to tidy up Centre at end of contact time - Providing tea and coffee

About Relationships Scotland Tayside and Fife

To promote for the public benefit, predominantly but not exclusively, the provision of services directed towards mediation, conciliation, reconciliation and counselling with the object of assisting any persons concerned in matrimonial and family disputes of any kind whatever, whether or not involved in any Court proceedings, so far as possible in the amicable resolution of such disputes, in appreciation and understanding of the problems and the interests of children and young people in adapting to and coping with their changed situations and circumstances and in any other way whatever.
