When We Need You
From 11/07/2008 onwards
About Opportunity
Volunteers are our most valuable and important resource, giving their time to provide our services to victims of crime by providing practical support to our clients in their homes, a local office or on the telephone; they also assist with practical matters such as insurance and compensation claims, giving information on the Criminal Justice System and its procedures, generally providing a listening ear. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? You should contact us ideally by email or phone using the contact details on the right/select the REGISTER INTEREST button. And we will send out an Application Pack. If you do not receive a response within 2-3 working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. After submitting the application form we will arrange a time for you to come and meet with us for an informal chat. It generally takes around 3-6 after you contact us to get you started. This period includes Victim Supports volunteer training.
