About Opportunity
We are looking for ad-hoc volunteers for our existing fundraising calendar which includes coffee mornings, bag packing and quiz nights. We would be keen to hear from anyone who can be added to our database and contacted regarding availability as and when events arose. This would mean an average of 4-5 hours , 6 times per year.

About Befriend a Child
Befriend A Child was established in 1975 to help the suffering and distress of Aberdeen's most disadvantaged children. We offer a one-to-one befriending service for young people aged 4-16 years, helping to promote their welfare, advance their education and improve their social skills. Through spending just a few hours a fortnight with the child, our volunteer brefrienders can help show the young people that adults can be trusted.
Skills & Experience
Experience is not necessary. Enthusiasm, creativity and an outgoing nature are all useful skills.
Travel Details
Venues are widespread, ranging from Aberdeen supermarkets to Ardoe House Hotel.

Induction pack provided at initial informal chat with volunteers free to indicate availability and personal commitment to suit. Staff member available for ongoing support/advice, and e-mail/phone contact provided.
